We are the friends with the common action

This past weekend was quite fun... on Saturday we were bummed to find out sports day was canceled due to bad weather. So instead we went to the zoo! It was super easy to get there... there's a zoo bus that stops right near our dorm so it was super convenient.

A turtle...

So this group of people came walking towards us as we were looking at the wolves with a group of like 10 dogs that are all half wolf half husky. It's weird here- everyone brings their dogs to the zoo. So we started talking to these people with the dogs and we asked how they all knew eachother and the one lady who spoke English said "We are the friends with the common action" haha the dogs were soo cute! Here's a pic of them looking at the wolves... their cousins.

That night Jess and I went to the 5 story club that everyone has been talking about. In line we met these British boys that we hung out with for the rest of the evening. Now we have friends in London!

On Sunday we met up with our new British friends and went to the aquarium (yes a weekend full of animals). The aquarium sucked. It was really small and cost twice as much as the zoo! After we were there for like 20 minutes we left and went to lunch where our waiter was really mean "oh you are from America... well aren't you lucky to be born in America and to speak English." but in a very sarcastic tone.

Sunday night was the NYU boat cruise.

On the cruise...

The cruise last about 1.5 hours in which time we managed to run into the Charles Bridge... I know you would think that would be hard to do, but we managed to do it TWICE! we didn't sink, but the crew was frantically running around like something was terrible wrong.

Afterward we walked around a bit and went bar hopping... the city it really deserted on Sunday nights.

Today was the first day of classes. They were alright. My music history teacher kind of seemed like a robot, while my marketing teacher was full of personality. The marketing prof seemed really cool- though the class is 3 hours long, it seems like it might be pretty interesting.

Tomorrow I have the rest of my classes, photo, another biz class, and music theory. I get out of class at 6pm. My friend Bryan and I have a car reserved at the airport for us to pick up at 7:30pm. We don't have class on Wednesday and decided we wanted to go on an adventure. We're headed to Bratislava. That's the plan at least... we'll see how it goes. Pretty crazy, driving to Slovakia tomorrow- no big deal.

A crazy life I lead. Slovakia and Austria on Wednesday, London->Southampton->Isle of Wight for BESTIVAL on Thursday.

Wish me luck!
