Arrived in Barcelona really early on Sunday morning. We headed to our hostel- Sant Jordi Alberg... the BEST HOSTEL EVER... if anyone reading this ever plans on going to Barcelona and staying in a hostel- stay here. The staff was incredible, everyone I met there was so awesome, it was super homy and nice and comfy and overall reallly great!
After checking into the hostel we headed straight for the beach!

Mojitos on the beach

Calabasas reunion in Barca for the FC Barcelona game!

Sooo much fun!

The next day in Park Guell- Gaudi's park.

Where the America's Next Top Model Cycle 7 final runway show took place! haha

Part of the longest bench in the world overlooking Barca.
Went to Barcelona's Museum of Contemporary Art. They were having John Cage exhibit. Sometimes he makes me really mad...
example-

BULLSHIT. for those who don't know 4'33" is absolutely nothing. The notation is 5 blank pages. When John Cage performs it he goes to the piano and sits there for exactly 4 minutes and 33 seconds and then gets up and leaves.
Some of his other compositions though and pretty interesting. He's created a whole new form of musical notation.
Segrada Familia-

constantly under construction

outside the Picasso Museum!

The building in which Queen Isabel gave Christopher Columbus the money to "sail around the world" 1492.
and finally Gaudi's house... Gaudi basically runs this city- half of the things we went to see there had to do with him!

Loveeeeed Barcelona! Headed north- next stop Amsterdam!
