Yesterday we went on an NYU sponsored day trip to
Sněžka, the tallest mountain in the Czech Republic. Elevation 5,260 ft. The top of the mountain is the Poland/ Czech Republic border.
The original plan was to hike up the mountain, about 12km, then take the chairlift back down. But because of bad weather only the first half of the chairlift was running. So we took the chairlift halfway up the mountain, hiked up the rest, then hiked all the way back down.

funky chairlifts.

When we got to the top of the chairlift it started to snow.

at the top!

legit snowstorm.

snowman. brrrr

the hike down was really nice after the snow turned to rain. I was cold so I went ahead of the group and pretty much jogged down the whole thing.

At the bottom we had a nice dinner and then got back on the bus for the 3 hour drive back to Prague.
