Today I went to IKEA by myself. Today I am dedicating an entire blog entry to my trip to IKEA. This was a huge feat. It involved 2 different metro trains, a bus, and a tram. IKEA is far. I went to get pillows/ towels because they only gave us one towel and the pillow they gave us is big enough for a hamster.
Anyway I made it back to the apt. and I am proud of myself.
Other than that today we started our intensive Czech classes. For 2 hours a day until Friday we meet in small groups of 10-12 and learn Czech really fast. Man this language is HARD. The hardest word we learned today was the number 4... it is spelled čtyři and pronounced by clenching your teeth and making sounds that are literally impossible for us Americans to make. it kind of sounds like shtrchyti. Anyway their clumps of consinents are realllly hard.
